'A fan came to my DM to shoot her shot' - Jeffery Nortey

Ghanaian comedian and actor Jeffrey Nortey has opened up about one of the funniest direct messages he has ever received on social media.

Speaking in a recent interview with Ghanaweb, Jeffrey revealed that the message came shortly after he featured in a film project in Nigeria. According to him, a lady who had apparently watched his performance decided to boldly shoot her shot by sending him a direct message.

Recounting the incident, Jeffrey said the lady introduced herself, expressed her interest in him, and asked whether he was married. She further inquired if he had any children, explaining that she was genuinely interested in pursuing a relationship with him.

To make her intentions even clearer, the lady reportedly ended the message by dropping her phone number and inviting him to get in touch.

“There’s this lady, she actually came to shoot her shot after a film I did in Nigeria. She wrote a lot, ‘hi my game is blah…, can I know if you’re married and if you have kids, then she dropped her number. It was just direct,” he recounted

Jeffrey described the message as the funniest DM he had ever received, noting that he was surprised by the admirer's confidence and boldness.

While he found the situation amusing, the comedian admitted that he admired the courage it took for someone to go to such lengths to express their interest directly.

The revelation has since sparked conversations among fans, with many praising the lady’s confidence and straightforward approach to shooting her shot.
