Nii Saka Brown is a veteran Ghanaian actor
Veteran Ghanaian actor Nii Saka Brown has attributed infidelity among married men to selfishness and a lack of discipline rather than spiritual influences.
Speaking during a cooking show with Empress Gifty on UTV on June 7, 2026, Nii Saka Brown reflected on his 26-year marriage and shared lessons he has learned over the years.
“I’ve been married for twenty-six years. If I’m asked why men cheat, I would say it’s selfishness. Nothing more, nothing less, because we have women at home,” he said.
According to the actor, blaming infidelity on spiritual forces only creates excuses for bad behaviour.
“It’s not even spiritual because when you bring in the spirituality, the person would get to justify whatever he’s doing and go scot-free. It’s not the devil that’s making us cheat; it’s our bad behaviour,” he stated.

Nii Saka Brown admitted that he had been unfaithful in the past, but eventually came to the realisation that cheating was wrong and needed to stop.
“It took me a lot of time to realise that cheating isn’t right, so I have to stop. I realised it’s a lack of discipline, so I would have to set the rules straight and be with my wife only,” he shared.
He further revealed that he made a conscious decision to be transparent with his wife as part of rebuilding trust in their marriage.
“I once told my wife that I don’t see myself cheating on her again. I’ve cheated on her before, but I didn’t see myself being naked with another woman anymore. It’s a decision I took myself, so I’m open to my wife,” he noted.
The actor explained that his openness extended to his phone and personal life, noting that he has nothing to hide from his wife.
“I don’t put a password on my phone, and my wife could go through it anytime she wants. Even when I’m home on weekends, I sometimes don’t pick up my phone at all,” he disclosed.
Nii Saka Brown added, “There was nothing to hide. Eventually, my wife trusted me and stopped going through my phone.”
