Ghanaian Kumawood actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as LilWin, has offered words of encouragement and advice to Black Stars player Thomas Partey amid ongoing discussions about his reported visa denial in Canada.

On June 12, 2026, reports emerged that Thomas Partey had allegedly been denied entry into Canada ahead of Ghana’s World Cup clash against Panama due to his pending court case linked to sexual assault allegations.

Following the reports, many netizens took to social media to express their disappointment over the decision.

Reacting to the development in a media interview shared on X and sighted by GhanaWeb on June 13, 2026, LilWin encouraged the footballer to remain strong and not allow the situation to affect him emotionally.

According to LilWin, Partey should remain focused, adding that even if he is unable to participate in Ghana’s opening game, there could still be opportunities for him in subsequent matches since the United States and Mexico have reportedly granted him entry.

“Today is Thomas Partey’s birthday. He has really gone through a lot, and I know wherever he is, God will strengthen him. Everything will be fine. If he gives up, then that will be his end,” he said.

Kwadwo Nkansah also advised Partey to seek spiritual encouragement ahead of the upcoming matches.

“What I want to tell him is that he should look for a prophet like Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah and listen to his preachings for a week, and God will rescue him from all that he is going through.

"Even if he is not allowed to play in Canada, he will surely get the chance to play in other countries,” he added.
