'I was topless, but Daniel remained professional' - Kate Henshaw opens up

Veteran Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has opened up about filming an intimate scene with her colleague Daniel Etim Effiong, revealing the level of professionalism and trust that existed between them during the process.

Speaking during a recent podcast interview, Kate Henshaw disclosed that before shooting the sensitive scene, she made sure to have a conversation with Daniel to confirm whether he was comfortable with the concept.

“The sex scene, I had a conversation with Daniel. I was like, ‘How far are you comfortable with the concept?’ and he said yes,” she explained.

Kate further revealed that the scene required her to appear topless while acting alongside Daniel, but praised her co-star for handling the moment with utmost professionalism.

“She was topless with him. When she was riding him. Yes. Did you see any bra? This cannot be covered. But there was no erection. Daniel is a good boy. In fact, he’s safe. He’s a true professional,” she said, referring to her character in the film and clarifying that the actor maintained complete professionalism throughout the shoot.

The acclaimed actress added that Daniel remained composed during the entire process and did not allow the nature of the scene to affect his conduct on set.

“He is awesome. True professional, true professional,” she added.

Her comments have since generated conversations online, with many fans praising both actors for their professionalism and the commitment they brought to their roles, highlighting the level of preparation and trust often required when actors are tasked with filming intimate scenes.
