LilWin is a Ghanaian actor and musician
Ghanaian actor and musician Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as LilWin, has accused award-winning musician Kofi Kinaata of borrowing a portion of his song for Kinaata’s recently released Black Stars World Cup song.
Speaking in a recent interview, LilWin claimed that Kofi Kinaata took a catchy section from his song Pray and incorporated it into his World Cup anthem.
According to him, if he had done something similar, he would have faced severe criticism from the public.
“Kofi Kinaata has stolen my song. If it were me, I would be the topic of discussion,” LilWin stated.

The actor made the comments in a humorous manner, specifically pointing to the repeated “fire, fire” phrase, which appears in both songs.
“He stole the Sweet part of my song. The fire fire,” he said
Using his past disagreement with musician Patapaa as an example, LilWin recalled how he was accused of copying Patapaa’s hit song One Corner after he released his own song titled Corner-Corner.
“When Patapaa did his song One Corner, and I did mine Corner-Corner, Patapaa accused me of stealing his song,” he recounted, insisting that the accusation against him at the time was unfair.
Following LilWin’s latest remarks, many social media users interpreted the comments as a playful attempt to promote Kofi Kinaata’s Black Stars song rather than a serious allegation of music theft.
