'You can’t be a side chick forever' – Elorm Aba advises Benedicta Gafah

Ghanaian actress Elorm Aba has weighed in on the ongoing controversy involving Prophet Obinim, his wife Florence Obinim, and actress Benedicta Gafah.

In a lengthy video shared on her TikTok page, Elorm Aba addressed all parties entangled in the controversy, offering advice and cautioning them about the consequences of their actions.

Speaking about Benedicta Gafah, who was alleged to be Obinim’s mistress at one point, and how Gafah hurled insults at Obinim’s wife in a recently leaked WhatsApp chat, a situation that somewhat confirmed Gafah’s side chick status, Elorm Aba stated that any woman who gets involved with a married man often becomes the person blamed whenever problems arise in that marriage.

According to her, it was inappropriate for Benedicta Gafah to publicly address Florence Obinim, whom she described as the lawful wife of Prophet Obinim.

She argued that Prophet Obinim’s act of discussing private issues about his marriage with another woman, and for that person to rely on those conversations to publicly confront his wife, is disrespectful to the sanctity of marriage.

“We know you don’t appreciate what is going on, and you have allowed your friend to come out and explain everything. We understand. But you know what, when you’re a young lady, and you decide to date a married man, whatever goes wrong in that marriage will be blamed on you. But the mere fact that you wrote a letter, spelling out everything the man told you about his wife, is very wrong of you,” she said

Elorm Aba further advised Benedicta Gaffah to walk away from the controversy and focus on building her own future and family.

She noted that her current image could have long-term effects on how society perceives her when she eventually decides to settle down.

“I don’t think you’d want to be a side chick forever, so be careful. I know you wished you had yours exclusively, but be careful of the image you’re creating now so it doesn’t affect you later. You need to apologize to the woman because the universe is watching,” added
