Ghanaian fashion icon 'Osebo the Zaraman' has made bold claims about the ongoing family feud involving the children of the late Dr Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, amid preparations for his burial.
Over the past few days, the children of the late Safo Kantanka have become the centre of discussion following reports that his daughter, Adwoa Safo, was shot during an alleged self-installation ceremony by her “rival” brother, who was seeking to assume leadership and inherit his father’s properties.
Following the controversy, Osebo, a close associate of the family, has made a series of allegations against Kwadwo Safo Kantanka Junior, also known as Akofena, during a TikTok live session sighted by GhanaWeb on June 23, 2026.
'You troubled your father until his death' - Osebo accuses Nana Safo Akofena
In the video, Osebo alleged that Akofena ruined his father’s companies after being appointed Chief Executive Officer.
He further claimed that Akofena sold some of his father’s cars, including one to Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams.
“He sold his father’s car to Duncan-Williams. He also sold his father’s Rolls-Royce to another person, claiming that his father was ill and needed money to travel abroad for proper healthcare. He sold most of his father’s properties as well,” he alleged.
Osebo the Zaraman further claimed that Akofena mismanaged four of his father’s companies while serving as CEO.
“His father had a company in Winneba where they sold stones. Akofena sold four of the trucks and squandered the money. He was disrespectful, maltreated everyone, and was full of himself,” he alleged.
Family rejects Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena as new leader of Kristo Asafo Mission
Osebo also questioned why Akofena allegedly held his “self-installation” ceremony at his private residence if he was indeed the rightful successor to lead Kristo Asafo.
“If he was the right person to become the leader of Kristo Asafo, then why was the ceremony held at his private residence?” he asked.
