The highly anticipated FIFA World Cup showdown between Ghana and England at the Boston Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, lived up to expectations as fans from both nations filled the stands with passion and excitement.
Although the entertaining encounter ended in a draw, Ghanaian supporters celebrated the Black Stars’ performance with enthusiasm, creating an electrifying atmosphere both inside the stadium and back home.
Several Ghanaian celebrities were among the thousands of fans who turned out to support the national team, proudly displaying their patriotism throughout the match.
Popular actor Kwadwo Nkansah LilWin was one of the standout figures in the crowd. The actor arrived draped in a cloth featuring Ghana’s national colours, red, gold, green, and the iconic black star as he passionately cheered on the team from the stands.

Global music sensation Black Sherif joined the excitement, visibly jubilant as he rallied behind the team during the pulsating encounter.
Also showing her national pride was Dr Louisa, wife of dancehall star Stonebwoy. Dressed in a Ghana jersey and matching cap, she enthusiastically cheered the Black Stars throughout the match.
Another notable face in attendance was Nigerian Afrobeats star Mr Eazi, who was seen celebrating alongside Ghana’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, as supporters erupted in joy during key moments of the game.
Actor Yaw Dabo was impossible to miss as he became one of the crowd favourites. The Kumawood star appeared twice on the stadium’s giant screen while proudly holding a replica of the World Cup trophy, drawing cheers from spectators.
Musician Wendy Shay was also among the celebrity supporters, proudly dressed in a Ghana jersey as she joined fellow fans in backing the Black Stars.
While the match ended without a winner, the strong turnout from Ghanaian celebrities and supporters transformed the occasion into a memorable celebration of national pride, proving once again that when the Black Stars play, the entire nation rallies behind them.
