The son of the late Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safo Kantanka addressing sympathisers
One of the sons of late Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safo Kantanka has opened up about an embarrassing experience after a food delivery rider refused to deliver an order to the Kantanka residence because of the family’s ongoing dispute.
Speaking during a press conference, he recounted that he had ordered food and asked the rider to deliver it to him at the Kantanka house in Taifa.
However, the rider reportedly became hesitant after hearing the destination.
“Yesterday I decided to order food. I told the rider to deliver the food to me. I was going to Taifa so I asked the rider to deliver it to me in Kantanka’s house. The rider said, ‘Ei that house? Let me ask another rider if they’d deliver it to you,” he narrated.
According to him, the incident highlighted how the family’s once-respected name has now become associated with fear and controversy due to the ongoing dispute.
“The good name that our father left for us, today it scares people. Before, when you go anywhere and you’re introduced as Kwadwo Safo’s child, people want to meet you. But today when they say that’s Apostle Kwadwo Safo’s child, people assume there’s a weapon on you,” he stated.

He said he believes the current situation would deeply disappoint their late father.
“I know that wherever our father is, he will be very gattered and very disappointed.”
He also appealed to members of Kristo Asafo to reflect on the long-term consequences of the divisions within the family, warning that the conflict is gradually destroying Apostle Kwadwo Safo’s legacy.
“With what has happend, what I will tell Kristo Asafo members is that, the division we are creating now, we are destroying the legacy of our father the more.”
He further cautioned that the dispute could discourage potential investors from supporting the company’s future after the burial of the late founder.
“When we finally burry our father and decide to continue his legacy, any investor we call on to help our company. They will be opurate about helping us. So whatever is happening now, it has its own repercussions.”
He made the remarks while addressing the media during the Kantanka family’s press conference on the ongoing dispute.
