Founder of the International God's Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has fired back at his estranged wife, Florence Obinim, following her public acknowledgement of a brand-new Toyota RAV4, gifted to her by Service Machinery Ghana Limited (SMGL).
He dismissed the gesture, claiming that the vehicle is outdated, and further warned her to stop discussing their failed marriage in public.
In a video that has since gone viral, and sighted by GhanaWeb on June 27, 2026, a visibly irritated Obinim mocked the car gift, insisting that it was nothing to celebrate, given the kind of vehicles Florence had access to during their marriage.
"You're making noise that someone has gifted you a car. You call this a car? This rickety car. It's not even brand new. I started using this car 16 years ago when I was still a young pastor.
"And you're going around pretending as if you've never driven a car before. You used to drive better cars than this. Stop this childish attitude. Stop it," he fumed.

The clergyman also issued a stern warning to Florence, cautioning her against continuous discussion about him or their marriage in media appearances.
"If I start to talk, Ghana will not be able to contain the both of us," he warned.
The remarks came after Florence, in an interview with Ola Michael on Peace FM, explained that the businessman behind the gift had been moved by her story and decided to step in to ease her situation.
She thanked the company and all those involved in making the gesture possible.
Florence had earlier gone public with accounts of hardship during her marriage, revealing she had no car of her own and relied on Uber and public transport despite being the wife of one of Ghana's most prominent clergymen. She also alleged that her music earnings were controlled by her husband.
Obinim's latest outburst marks a further escalation in what has become one of the most publicly contested marital breakdowns in Ghana's religious community in recent times.
