LilWin defended Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah
Kumawood actor and producer LilWin has waded into the controversy surrounding Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah's failed World Cup prophecy.
He has defended the clergyman and turned his guns on those criticising him.
The popular entertainer took to social media to slam detractors who have been mocking the founder of the Believers Worship Centre after his prediction of a Black Stars victory over Croatia failed to manifest, with Ghana losing 2-1 on the night of June 27.
LilWin took aim especially at fellow pastors who spoke ill of Prophet Adom Kyei Duah.
"Those of you, especially the prophets speaking against Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah, are all hypocrites. You don't know anything," he said in the video.
Tension erupts as Adom Kyei-Duah's Black Stars prophecy fails to materialise
The actor argued that Adom Kyei-Duah deserves credit rather than ridicule, pointing out that the prophet was among the very few public figures who publicly prayed and spoke in favour of the Black Stars ahead of their World Cup campaign.
"Adom Kyei-Duah is the only one to pray and prophecy for the Black Stars to qualify to the next stage. The rest of you were quiet. Now you're using the Croatia issue to speak badly about him. Shut up," he fired.
LilWin asked what any of them had done or said about Ghana's chances at the tournament.
"What did any of you say about Ghana's chances at the World Cup? Nothing!" he wrote.
Signing off with a stern warning to those continuing to attack the prophet, LilWin stated that Adom Kyei-Duah’s prophecies will be fulfilled eventually.
