Kwabena Boakye confirms GH¢80,000 and France visa offer from Vivian Jill

Kwabena Boakye, a close associate of Ghanaian actress Vivian Jill, has publicly confirmed reports that he has received an offer of GH¢80,000 and assistance with processing a French visa from the actress.

In a video circulating on social media, Kwabena admitted that the reports were true but explained that he intentionally chose not to speak about it earlier.

According to him, after previously opening up about feeling mistreated by people he looked up to, many people advised him to remain silent. For that reason, he decided to keep quiet about the latest development as well.

“If you hear that I have been given GH¢80,000 and a French visa, it is true. And I should have come out to say a long time ago,” he said

Kwabena disclosed that when he met with Vivian Jill and her team to receive the offer, he was asked to record the meeting and share it on his social media pages.

However, he declined, insisting that everything he had previously said about his experiences was genuine and came from his heart.

“They said I shouldn’t stand anywhere and mention anyone’s name again but after they gave me the money the wasnted me to film it and deny what I said. I didn’t want to film it because everything I said before was true. If you wake me up in the middle of the night and ask me to repeat everything I said, I will still say the same thing because those were my honest feeling,” he explained.

He further revealed that before the final package was agreed upon, he had initially requested a small car to help him move around.

According to him, his request was heeded and was asked to look for a car he wants so it could be paid for.

He said that he later found a 2015–2016 Toyota Corolla at a garage he liked, but Vivian Jill advised against buying it because she knew the owner of the garage.

Kwabena said the actress was concerned that people online might accuse her of secretly arranging the purchase through someone she knew.

As a result, she asked him to stop pursuing the vehicle, explaining that they would instead give him money so he could buy a car himself and use the remaining amount for other needs.

“I got the car, Corolla 2015-2016. Later on she said no, because where I was going to get the car she knows the person and she doesn’t want anyone assuming she planned it,” he said

However, he said the arrangement later changed again, and he was informed that they had settled on a different package GH¢80,000 in cash together with the processing of a France visa.

“The next day was told they would give me money so I can buy the car and keep the remaining money for myself. They’ve also process my visa which I accepted,” he said

He also added that he came online to rant because he felt left out and neglected, if not he wouldn’t have.

Following his confirmation, social media users have begun criticizing Kwabena Boakye. Many argue that when he felt neglected, he publicly accused Vivian Jill of being a hypocrite and openly criticised her.

They now question why he remained silent after she allegedly responded to his concerns by offering him financial support and assistance with relocating abroad.

The development has generated mixed reactions online, with some praising Vivian Jill for extending support despite the public criticism, while others continue to question Kwabena Boakye’s decision not to publicly acknowledge the gesture until now.
