In Ghana, it is perfectly legal for a licensed firearm owner to use their weapon in self-defense against an intruder, or in any situation where defensive force is lawfully justified.

While I have sympathy for the injured woman, I struggle to understand the rationale behind the arrest. At the end of the day, these situations are governed by the law of the land, and perhaps even more importantly, by how that law is interpreted and enforced.
