Bishop Daniel Obinim has announced that he is bringing an end to the recent controversies surrounding him and his wife, and other related issues that have dominated social media in recent weeks.

Speaking to his congregation in a video circulating online, Bishop Obinim revealed that he made the decision on Sunday morning after what he described as divine instruction from the Holy Spirit.

According to him, at exactly 9 a.m. before heading to church, he went through his social media accounts and deleted every video he had shared concerning the ongoing

“Sunday morning before going to church, I deleted every video from my social media. I haven’t heard anything, all I know is that the Holy Spirit said I shouldn’t continue,” he said

Bishop Obinim stressed that the decision was entirely personal and was not influenced by anyone.

He insisted that no individual had advised him to stop addressing the matter publicly, explaining that he simply obeyed what he believed was the direction of the Holy Spirit.

“No one has advised me, no one has said anything to me, I haven’t heard anything,” he claimed

Bishop Obinim also addressed suggestions that he had quickly “healed” or moved on from the controversy.

He dismissed those claims, stating that nothing had changed regarding how he felt about the situation. Instead, he maintained that his decision to remain silent was based solely on the spiritual instruction he received.

“Someone would say ‘papa you have healed very fast’. I haven’t healed from anything; I am just following the orders of the Holy Spirit,” he insisted

With the deletion of the videos and his latest announcement, Bishop Obinim says he has officially closed the chapter on the matter and will no longer make any public statements about the controversy.
