Kekeli Verse makes bold introduction with debut album titled 'Soul is Emotions, Body is Logic'

Emerging cinematic drill artist Kekeli Verse has officially unveiled his debut album, Soul is Emotions… Body Is Logic, a compelling 14-track project that blends raw storytelling with introspective lyricism to capture the realities of ambition, family, sacrifice, and self-discovery.

Ahead of its release, the project was previewed at an intimate listening session attended by selected guests, who were given an early experience of an album that explores the delicate balance between emotion and reason.

The album begins with a touching voice message from Kekeli Verse’s mother, whose heartfelt encouragement immediately introduces one of the project’s central themes: the strength found in family and the people who continue to believe in you through life’s most difficult moments.

That emotional opening lays the foundation for a body of work rooted in authenticity and personal growth.

Organized into three chapters—Foundation, Conflict, and Identity—the album chronicles the highs and lows of pursuing purpose.

While themes of heartbreak and betrayal are present, the project places greater emphasis on financial struggles, personal responsibility, and the mental resilience required to build a lasting career.

Taking full creative control of his sound, Kekeli Verse produced nearly 80 percent of the album himself, further establishing his versatility as both an artist and producer.

The project is elevated by appearances from some of Ghana’s respected lyricists and creatives, including Lyrical Joe, Ian Jazzi, Shaike Mumzoo, and Q, whose contributions complement the album’s cinematic vision.

Reflecting on the meaning behind the title, Kekeli Verse says:

“The soul is where our emotions live, but the body survives through logic. This album represents the constant battle between what we feel and the decisions we must make to keep moving forward.”

For the artist, the project is intended to inspire perseverance rather than simply entertain. Among all fourteen songs, “Verse” (Track 10) stands as his most personal record, capturing the relentless determination and unwavering belief that have shaped his journey.

Released through his independent imprint APMG, Soul is Emotions… Body Is Logic is now available on all major digital streaming platforms.
