'Don't kill yourself to please women' - Pastor Funke Felix advises men

Popular Nigerian pastor Funke Felix has offered advice to married men on how to relate to their spouses in marriage.

In a video shared on social media and sighted by GhanaWeb on July 5, 2026, Pastor Funke Felix advised men not to go to extreme lengths to please women.

According to the outspoken cleric, women can be difficult to please.

She explained that even God has not been able to please women, and therefore men should be cautious about how far they go to satisfy their wives.

“Listen to me carefully: do everything, but do not kill yourself. Married men, listen to this: there is nobody who can please a woman. I am not saying you should not be responsible, but please, do not kill yourself.

“The Almighty God gave us nails, but we cut them and attach another one. God gave us eyebrows, but we shave them off and put on another pair. God gave us hair, but we remove it, do whatever we want, and add a wig. The Almighty God cannot please us. Who are you to please us?” she said.

She further advised women to work and earn their own income instead of depending entirely on men for survival.

“That is why I keep telling women: do not let the money you have be sexually transmitted. Have your own money, so whatever your husband gives you becomes an addition,” she added.
