Media personality and football enthusiast Nana Aba Anamoah has lambasted Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz following his post-match comments after Ghana’s exit from the FIFA World Cup.

Queiroz had defended his team’s performance despite the disappointing outcome, stating, “I’m not happy, but I’m proud of what we did at the World Cup.”

In his parting remarks, he also said, "The future of the Black Stars will not be built only on the pitch. Black Stars' success must start off the field by creating the best possible environment to prepare, protect, and develop Ghana's extraordinary football talent."

His remarks, however, did not sit well with Nana Aba, who reposted the statement on X and accused the coach of lacking the courage to make decisive choices that could have improved Ghana’s journey.

“Yeah Carlos, you must be very proud of your inability to own this team and make the decisions that would have put us in a better position. I’m always fascinated by men who are proud of having no balls. Spineless Carlos.”

The outspoken broadcaster’s reaction has quickly gained attention online, with many football fans weighing in on the Black Stars’ World Cup performance and Queiroz’s leadership.

While some supporters agreed with Nana Aba’s criticism, arguing that the coach failed to make bold tactical decisions throughout the tournament, others defended Queiroz, insisting the team showed commitment despite falling short of expectations.
