'Tell your fans the house isn't yours' – Oseikrom Sikani challenges YPee

Ghanaian rapper Oseikrom Sikani has disclosed that he is ready to record a joint album with his colleague YPee, but only if the latter publicly addresses what he describes as false claims about owning the house he lives in.

Speaking during a TikTok Live session with Showboy on July 6, 2026, Oseikrom Sikani said he would not charge YPee for the collaboration but insisted that honesty must come first.

"I'm willing to do an album with YPee. I won't take any money, but I want him to do one thing for me. He should come out and tell his fans that the house he lives in is not his. He's been lying to his fans, and I'm so pained about it," he said.

According to Oseikrom Sikani, the property in question belongs to YPee's family and not the rapper himself.

“The house is a family house, so he should stop lying to his fans,” he claimed.

He also compared their careers, arguing that despite YPee entering the music industry years before him, he believes he has achieved more in a shorter period.

“A superstar like YPee, when he started music, I was in school. I’ve come to surpass him and built a mansion while he’s still where he is. Is he living his life backwards?” he questioned.

Oseikrom Sikani further pointed to award recognition, noting that although YPee has spent about nine years in the music industry alongside artistes such as Pappy Kojo and Kwesi Arthur, he has yet to receive a nomination at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards.

“It’s been nine years since he joined the industry, alongside Pappy Kojo and Kwesi Arthur. They’ve all gone ahead of him and have been nominated before, but you’ve never been nominated at the TGMAs. When I came in 2020, I was nominated the same year,” he shared.

The rapper further stated that he deliberately focused on completing his education before pursuing music full-time.

“I intentionally relaxed and completed school before starting music,” he added.
