  It is vital to monitor what your children do online: what information they access or what they look at and who they are in contact with. PORNOGRAPHY IS A HUGE THREAT THAT CAN SERIOUSLY HARM YOUR CHILD'S EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND AFFECT THE WAY THEY RELATE TO PEOPLE AND ESPECIALLY THE OPPOSITE SEX. Exposure to online violence (movies and especially games) can also affect a child's emotional development. A recent threat is the unbridled and unsupervised use of AI. Children and even adults run to AI to provide them answers to some of life's most difficult questions- what people forget is that AI supplied answers are nothing more than an attempt by AI software to summarise a pool of information available online (both good and bad). As a result, there are countless examples of AI giving wrong, misleading and even downright very dangerous answers or suggestions.
  Parents will not be able to supervise what their children access online if they are themselves COMPUTER ILLITERATE. Every parent owes it to themselves and their children to get a solid basic understanding of IT (at least the ECDL or equivalent)
  We must also sound a note of caution here. While it is vital to be involved in a healthy manner with your growing children, once they become adults or become married it is equally vital to “let them go” as they will need to establish and build a life of their own and if they become married focus on building their marital relationship. MARRIAGE IN THE EARLY YEARS IS GENERALLY A TOUGH PERIOD FOR MOST COUPLES AS THEY STRUGGLE TO ADJUST TO EACH OTHER. During this time, they need space and time to find their own feet, and it is the worse time for parents, however well intentioned they may be, to get too closely involved with the lives of their married children as this often aggravates disagreements. It is important to encourage sons and daughter not to bring back to parents complaints about their spouse as this can easily lead to very dangerous schisms in family relationships which can last for years.
  Wisdom, maturity, sensitivity and self-restraint is essential if parents are to continue to play a positive role in the changing lives of their offspring as they also mature into adulthood.

  AND AS A PARENT MAKE THE EFFORT TO BECOME COMPUTER LITERATE AT LEAST FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR CHILDREN- THIS REQUIRES EFFORT AND DISCIPLINE BUT WILL HELP PROTECT YOUR CHILDREN FROM DANGERS OUT THERE!
