‘You’re not an easy person to gift’ - Temi Otedola tells husband

Fashion influencer and actress Temi Otedola has revealed that finding the perfect gift for her husband, musician Mr Eazi, is no easy task because he is not interested in material possessions.

Speaking on their podcast, Temi explained that despite buying him items such as shoes, bags, and watches in the past, the singer never seemed particularly excited about them.

She noted that this has pushed her to become more creative, focusing instead on giving him memorable experiences.

“You know you are very hard to gift material things because you don’t care. There is no shoe, bag, or watch I can buy you that you care about. Even though I have tried things like that in the past, you’re like, ‘Yeah, whatever.’ So I have to do experiential things to get your attention,” she said.

Temi added that creating lasting memories, such as taking Mr Eazi to events to see people he admires, including American singer Celine Dion, has proven to be a far better gift than physical items.

Responding, Mr Eazi admitted that he has never been easy to shop for, noting that he often does not know what he wants until the very last minute.

“Exactly, but you could if you just ask me, ‘What will you want?’ If you ask me what I want for my birthday and I say, ‘I don’t really want anything right now,’ maybe a day before my birthday, something might come to my head, and I’ll say, ‘Oh, I want this,” he explained.

Temi, however, noted that she cannot wait a day before his birthday without having plans
