Kumchacha says his flaws as a man of God have been anger and occasional fights
Founder and leader of Heaven's Gate Ministries, Prophet Nicholas Osei, popularly known as Kumchacha, has stated that despite his imperfections, he has maintained integrity throughout his 35 years in ministry.
Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on UTV's Atuu on July 18, 2026, the preacher admitted that anger has been one of his personal weaknesses but insisted he has never been involved in scandals involving fraud, sexual misconduct, or financial exploitation.
"My flaws as a man of God have been anger and occasional fights, but I'm controlling it. I'm not a pretender," he said.
Kumchacha stressed that no one can accuse him of taking advantage of church members or engaging in immoral acts.
"All these 35 years of being a man of God, no one can say that I've taken their money or I've slept with someone or I've defrauded someone. It has never happened before and that will never happen," he stated.

The preacher also took a swipe at some ministers whom he claimed are rushing to acquire wealth through questionable means.
"Those who have come to meet us in the ministry and they want to get everything quickly, they do things that are not genuine. Some are now wealthy and have acquired many assets, but they should know that the end of our lives is more important than the beginning," he shared.
According to Kumchacha, history has shown that some individuals who sought quick success in ministry did not end well.
"We know those who have sped up to do things in life and their end wasn't pleasant. Some died mysteriously," he noted.
He further emphasised that he is not in competition with any fellow preacher and remains focused on his own calling.
"I'm not in a competition with anyone in this ministry," Kumchacha added.
