Actress and media personality Nana Ama McBrown has stated that she does not expect everyone to love her, adding that she has accepted the fact that people will have different opinions about her.

Speaking in an interview with Kobby Kyei, McBrown explained that she focuses on living her life and doing things that bring her happiness rather than worrying about whether people approve of her choices.

She noted that while some people may choose to love and support her, others may not, and that is something she cannot control.

“It depends on the person. As far as I am concerned, I live my life and do what makes me happy. Whether someone chooses to love me or not is entirely up to them. If they decide to love someone else, I cannot control that. It doesn’t bother me at all, and I don’t even think about it,” she said.

Discussing how she manages her mindset and the kind of content she consumes on social media, the actress explained that she focuses on positive things that contribute to her happiness and personal growth.

According to McBrown, positivity is about engaging with things that are beneficial and bring fulfilment rather than allowing negativity to affect one’s life.

“When we talk about positive things, what exactly do we mean? They are the things you believe will help you and the things you do that bring you happiness. I believe that in this life, you should do things that make you happy,” she noted.

The media personality further stated that no one is perfect enough to avoid criticism, adding that she does not expect to receive love and acceptance from everyone.

She said she understands that people will always have different views about others and believes that whatever happens in life is ultimately in God’s hands.

“There is nobody who is so righteous that they will never face any issues or criticism. There is an old saying that if everybody loves you, then something is wrong, so I don’t expect everyone to love me. I also don’t expect to live a perfect or completely righteous life forever.
