‘There’s not even GH¢1’ – King Promise lookalike’s father pleads with Ajagurajah to forgive his son

The father of King Promise’s lookalike, Robest, has pleaded with spiritual leader Kwabena Asiamah, popularly known as Ajagurajah, to forgive his son following reports about his mental condition.

In an interview with DJ Viper on Asempa FM, the man disclosed that he was unaware his son had offended the spiritual leader until someone shared a video with him showing his son visiting Ajagurajah’s church to apologise and ask for forgiveness.

He explained that after watching the video, he called his son to find out what had happened and why he had gone to seek forgiveness from Ajagurajah. According to him, his son later told him that they had a misunderstanding.

"I had no idea what had happened. Someone sent me a video showing that my son had gone to Ajagurajah's place to ask for forgiveness. I immediately called him and asked, 'What have you done to the spiritual leader that made you go and seek his forgiveness?'

"He then explained that they had a misunderstanding. I asked him, 'If you had a misunderstanding with an elder, why didn't you tell me as your father so I could have taken you there myself to apologise and ask for forgiveness?" he said.

The father added that he had advised his son on several occasions to stop some of the things he has been doing online, but his son refused to listen to his warnings.

He further appealed to Ajagurajah to forgive his son for the sake of God, stressing that he never supported his son's actions, including videos where he allegedly disrespected prominent personalities.

"I sincerely plead with Ajagurajah, for God's sake, to forgive my son. I never supported what he was doing. If I had supported his actions, I would have appeared in his videos where he disrespected prominent people. I did not know what my son did to Ajagurajah," he noted.

The father also disclosed that his son does not have any money in his account that he can access to help resolve the situation, adding that the entire incident has affected him emotionally and made it difficult for him to eat.

“There’s not even GH¢1 anywhere in my son’s account that I can go and withdraw to solve this problem,” he added.

The plea comes after Ajagurajah claimed that he would require 100 cows, the nine left nails of a lice, and other items from Robest’s family before considering reversing a curse he said he placed on the young man, who has reportedly been experiencing mental health challenges.

Ajagurajah warned that if Robest’s family is unable to provide the items he requested, they should not come to him seeking assistance.
