“I remember he spoke to me on the evening of July 24 while on his way home from Ajagurajah’s residence. He was with his son Jude and his driver. This is the first time I am disclosing this since after the death of Ohene Charles. He called me on the 24th, and on the 26th I heard that he had passed,” she noted.
She made the revelation while visibly emotional, as she recounted the moments leading up to the death of her brother.
Daddy Lumba, born Charles Kwadwo Fosu, passed away on July 26, 2025, at the Bank Hospital in Accra after battling a short illness, according to a statement released by his family.
Following his death, however, several disagreements have emerged among factions of the family regarding issues surrounding his burial, widowhood rites, and the administration of his estate.
The legendary musician was laid to rest in December 2025.
Almost a year after his passing, Akosua Brempomaa, who has previously raised concerns about the circumstances surrounding her brother’s death and suspected foul play, has insisted that she does not know the exact location he has been buried.
