'Who do you expect me to support?' - Ajagurajah on why he backs Odo Broni

Spiritual leader Kwabena Asiamah, popularly known as Ajagurajah, has declared that he will continue to support Priscilla Ofori, widely known as Odo Broni, in the ongoing dispute surrounding the estate of the late highlife legend, Daddy Lumba.

Speaking during a TikTok Live session, Ajagurajah said his loyalty to Odo Broni was started from his personal interactions with the late musician, who, according to him, introduced Odo Broni as his wife and credited her with caring for him throughout his illness.

"It was Odo Broni. Lumba introduced her to me as his wife and told me to thank her on his behalf because, without her, he would have died much earlier. He said she took care of him throughout his illness," Ajagurajah recounted.

Describing himself as a loyal person, Ajagurajah insisted that he would not abandon the woman Daddy Lumba personally acknowledged to him.

"I am a very loyal person. Now that he is dead, who do you expect me to support? I am not a betrayer. I won't betray anyone. You can say whatever you want. I will support Odo Broni with my heart. You can go and cry," he stated.

Ajagurajah's comments come as the legal battle over Daddy Lumba's estate continues.

Following the musician's death in July 2025, Lumba’s first wife, Akosua Serwaa Fosuh sought a court declaration that she was his only lawful wife and asked that Odo Broni be restrained from presenting herself as his widow.

However, the Kumasi High Court dismissed her claim and ruled that both Akosua Serwaa and Odo Broni were recognised as customary wives of the late musician.

Despite the ruling, the dispute remains unresolved. Akosua Serwaa has filed an appeal challenging the High Court's decision, arguing that she should be recognised as Daddy Lumba's sole lawful spouse.
