Stonebwoy can’t look me in the face - Shatta Wale

Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has reignited his long-running feud with his colleague Stonebwoy, claiming that the BHIM Nation boss cannot ‘face him’ because of their shared history.

He made this disclosure in a teaser for his episode of ‘The Honest Bunch’ podcast during a visit to Lagos, Nigeria.

When asked about the origin of their long-running feud, Shatta Wale traced it to the early days of Stonebwoy's career, insisting they once shared a mentor-mentee relationship.

"Stonebwoy is my boy. He used to come to the first room I rented. He used to call me daddy," Shatta Wale claimed.

According to him, the relationship changed after Stonebwoy began receiving praise from people within the media and music industry.

"But when he started going into the media and they told him, 'Oh, you have talent, you are even better than Shatta Wale,' things changed," he said.

When asked what would happen if Stonebwoy walked into the studio during the interview, Shatta Wale responded with confidence, stating that his colleague would be unable to confront him.

"He can't watch me; he will fall down. My spirit is too big for him. I'm too confident. I am not fake. The things he says, he doesn't follow. Me, the things I say, I follow them," he said.

He added, "When we say we are coming to beat you, we are coming to beat you."

The comments are the latest in the long-running rivalry between the two award-winning dancehall stars, whose public clashes over the years have remained one of Ghana's biggest entertainment feuds.
