  so those 8 who died are more important than all those who have died through each successive gov'ts failure to tackle this menace?
  Have you seen the devastation, the still births? the deformities? and because some politicians died we all of a sudden think the rest who have suffered in one way or the other do not deserve attention, please give us a break?
  Ok, so they died, what has been the government's response to the galamsey issue?
  Those politicians must be turning in their graves seeing what has been done or better yet not done since their unfortunate demise.
  Sorry to say this, but they died for nothing seeing where we are with the fight against galamsey.Mr Bentum, you and I are at a very high risk due to seepage of these chemicals into the water bodies and food chain.
  Better speak up and not make political commentary because this government has let us down badly.
