  Without hit songs, Shatta Wale wouldn't have a chance to sign with Beyonce. Without hit songs, Shatta Wale wouldn't pull such huge crowd to the Independence square. So yes, hit songs is what every artist MUST chase. And as for Samini the less said about him the better, his career has long been buried. Stop wasting time and energy on him. He's not an International artist during his time. He was a local artist.
