Prophet Francis Kofi Annan is a Ghanaian preacher
Prophet Francis Kofi Annan has sparked debate on social media following comments he made about men's grooming habits.
In a video shared on X and sighted by GhanaWeb on August 19, 2026, the Ghanaian preacher claimed that men who shape their hairline, mustache, or beard after trimming their hair risk missing out on heaven.
According to the preacher who claimed to have had a spiritual encounter with the land of the dead, he saw many people in hell because of such practices.
“Any man who shapes his hairline, mustache, or beard after trimming will not make it to heaven. As a man, you should either shave all your hair or leave it in its natural shape as it is.

“If you trim your beard, you should not shape it because these are some of the things that can take you to hell. These are the things I saw when I visited the land of the dead,” he said.
Prophet Francis Kofi Annan also took a swipe at some pastors in the country.
According to him, some pastors engage in similar grooming practices in an attempt to appear attractive to young women in their congregations.
“Some pastors also put lines in their hair after a shave. They do this because they want to attract young ladies in the church, but they do not know that such actions can lead them to hell.
“They see it as fashion, but they do not realise that God does not approve of it,” he added.
