For me that is the issue. We have to try and make our elections less costly to minimise corruption.
You don't run for public office to enrich yourself, but you rather run and serve those who elected you there. This is why Ghana is always at a standstill.
Then why did you spend money to campaign and win?
That's what all MPs say. So, why do people fight tooth and nail at all levels to be MP? It is like saying money doesn't bring happiness and yet everybody wants to have money.
