Inmates of the Nsawam Medium Security Prison have impressed many Ghanaians after a video of their rehearsals ahead of the Prison Talent Heritage Showcase surfaced online.
The event is scheduled to take place today, August 21, 2026, with inmates expected to showcase their creative abilities through music, dance and other cultural performances.
A video shared by Sika Official captured several male inmates displaying exceptional dance skills during rehearsals, drawing admiration from viewers on social media.
The energetic performance has since gone viral, with many netizens praising the inmates for their talent, discipline and coordination. Others also commended the Ghana Prisons Service for creating a platform that allows inmates to discover and showcase their abilities while serving their sentences.
The Prison Talent Heritage Showcase is expected to highlight the role of rehabilitation through arts and culture, giving inmates an opportunity to express themselves and demonstrate their talents to the public.
