Try harder to help yourself. Things are not easy for Ghanaians these days. Haven't you heard that qualified Nurses and School Teachers have not been paid for two years? Newly Graduated Teachers and Hospital Nurses have not been even employed to be posted to any station. Britain is a Welfare State where you can get subsistence food to eat and community places you can spend the night. All is not rosy in the Capitalist West. There are many Ghanaians in Britain struggling to make ends meet. If you tried to help your family members when you got to Britain, then call them because they are the people who can help you most. Don't rely on Ghanaians and the Government for help.
You can contact some Christian Churches for help in Britain. Just don't try to be lazy. Nobody sent you to Britain. Struggle and help yourself.

I have no idea why he landed in this situation but all what I can say is that it a choice to be homeless as a Ghanaian in Europe, UK or USA. You must 'mellow' and humble yourself. If you are too wise, no Ghanaian will be willing to help you. You must not carry your perceived status over there thinking people will worship you. If someone decides to take you in, you must accept to also help that person, this includes doing chores, helping with the children and accepting whatever job that is offered to you. Its not going to be a permanent situation but once you endure for a while you definitely make it. If you come with shoulders high, just forget it, you will be ignored !

His modus operandi, although unconventional depending on where you stand, has yielded results — most musicians nowadays are able to afford cars and mansions, which hitherto, wasn't the case.

Let him clean himself, find a job, work and save money to come back home with something for himself. He can do it as long as he sets is mind on it. He is at a place people go through perilous journeys to get to.
