Popular Ghanaian actress and media personality Ahoufe Patricia has declared that women already hold the power to shape the future, calling on more women across the creative arts and public sectors to step up and claim leadership roles.

Speaking in an interview with Nikki Samonas on Joy Prime, the actress addressed the question of whether women could "take over the world" within the next decade, arguing that female influence is already foundational to society.

"Women run the world. Nothing would exist without women. Men can't live alone. We can survive on our own, but men can't. I think we are still realizing it.

"Hopefully, we will be able to step into our power, own it, and realize that we can do what men can do, and even more and better," Ahoufe Patricia stated.

When asked whether Ghana's judicial system and government structures are ready to accommodate female leadership, she expressed optimism, pointing to women who already hold high-profile positions within the judiciary and other state institutions.

Rather than blaming systemic barriers, she emphasized that the onus now rests on women to push forward into decision-making spaces, particularly behind the scenes in the entertainment industry.

"I just feel like it's up to us to step up more. Hopefully, there will be more female producers and directors. We are ready, just that a lot more of us need to push instead of surrender," she added.
