Based on the narration, what does it says about life on earth? Why should such a beautiful soul suffer such a disease at the prime of her life? The universe does not care anyone’s religious affiliation. The universe is blind. It only listens to actions and inactions. No matter how religious someone is, it doesn’t save the person from such illnesses. It’s time we Ghanaians instead of building so much churches and spending time and money worshipping earthly religion, invest some of the money and time into health, research and scientific breakthrough so that when the reality of life strike, we can have room to mitigate it.
In this universe or earth in which the food we eat even tries to kill us, the only truth are the laws governing this floating rock, example law of gravity. We wasting all our time on this earth in Ghana on someone’s introduced religion, when we could be using the same time and resources to invest in health, science and technology which could benefit us.

The government's health budget and/or R & D (Research and Development) budget are not being used to build churches. Not even private business entities in health or science & technology or any other field are responsible for building churches in Ghana. The Bible does not preach against scientific research. So how do building of churches and Christian worship prevent the nation from engaging in any scientific and technological research? By the way, what percent of the national budget for 2026 is dedicated to R&D?

And we hear this kind of argument from very shallow minds all the time: the building of churches is supposed to be responsible for the absence of factories, lack of jobs, etc in Ghana and Africa. I wonder how the Church prevent any person or company from building factories or creating jobs in Ghana and Africa.

And who said that people in all kinds of nations, including atheist/communist/Marxist nations, so-called developed nations, etc do not suffer all kinds of health conditions? Let this not be an opportunity to force anti-Christ ideologies into the narrative.

Our understanding of the condition has grown remarkably over the last two decades but breakthrough treatment and even reversible of this horrible condition is still outside our reach.
The good news is that people can now do a lot to reduce or delay the onset of this horrible condition. The onset of dementia in aging people in Ghana has frequently lead to tragic consequences with them being labelled "witches" or being described as "possessed" by incredibly ignorant people further adding to the distress and misery of dementia patients and their families. Some very ignorant and irresponsible religious leaders (mostly of the self-appointed types) have been the most guilty of this cruel act of labelling those developing dementia as agents of satan .The God of Heaven will call them to account.
Let's hope that those in positions of highest authority take note of the growing problem of dementia as the life expectancy of Ghanaians continues to rise.
