THE ISSUANCE OF STATE PERMITS SHOULD BE WELL ADDRESSED BECAUSE MOST ILLEGAL STRUCTURES DO HAVE BUILDING PERMITS ISSUED BY THE STATE. THE CLEANUP EXERCISE SHOULD START FROM THESE CORRUPT AND BRIBE-TAKING GOV OFFICES. GOVERNMENT SHOULD PROSECUTE AND JAIL ITS WORKERS WHO SIGNED THESE ILLEGAL PERMITS.
Property owners often follow standard channels in good faith, paying official fees only to discover their legal documentation was issued fraudulently by a state actor.
Tearing down structures without prosecuting the signatories leaves the corrupt framework intact, allowing the same officials to sell invalid permits to the next unsuspecting builder.
