I've warned her to make sure that out children speak her language too, not just the Eve. But in this country, the twi speakers force everybody to speak twi. That's what pisses me off. If non akans speak twi with an accent, do you know how they are viewed? As if hell has broken loose. However, Eves don't do that when non Eve speakers struggle to speak Eve. Do you know how rude it is when twi is spoken at very formal national functions where everybody is expected to communicate in a common official language, which is English?

The only thing that could help a bit, is when the old Secondary School and Sixth Form(O & A Levels) System is brought back, all, with the same strictness and the use of the whip. Respect in schools must be reintroduced.

It's easy to avoid the whip (cane) if you don't like it. I avoided the whip, respecting order and rules, dotting all the "i" and crossing all the "t".

MzGee, don't pretend, it's been so every year and again some of the parents don't know the difference between low and high aggregates. Some of them think the higher the number, the better of the results.

The government failed to do this. The teacher failed to arrange the aggregate according to the category. The so-called data clerk failed to do this and there were a lot of mistakes, I chose Swedro SHS they keyed in Swedro Business School. Just salad. Why 3 day schools?
Why not 5 Boarding and 1 close day school

I went to a friend shop here in Aflao. A school sent him JJS3 students about 15 of them from English/Arabic school. The good aggregate is 38 then 45. If my daughter who gets aggregate 1 in Mathematics find herself at the Aflao Community SHS what will become of her, Wo bon basa
Why accept aggregate 30 and above. Arabic school must be so and English Basic schools should remain as it is. They were not even Ghanaians It was a good initiative for the government to stop those with aggregate 9 in Mathematics and English to repeat so that they can study hard towards examination. The world is watching us. In all schools examination is to test the child performances not to entertain them, BECE Ecam is for entertainment
So called NGO can dictate to the government « allow them to go they will improve » they are just noise makers what’s the essence of taking a test ?
Government is time to take a strong decision about education of our kids and stand by it. Not when they get to SS3 to write WASSCE. Look at the Apo and the Fs

Even if SHS must be accessible to all, they must get back to 30 cut off point as before.
Then when you don't qualify, you re-register with a school (probably repeat form 3) to sit for the following year.

But politians want to use national money, including borrowed money to feed aggregate 54 people.

Even if free must it not be competitive?

Universities accept up to 36. And because of the requirements, students learn harder or they resist until they qualify.

Why are we going backwards in this heightened technological era?
