Ghanaian music company Apprise Music & Media has secured grant support through the Orange Inspire Creative Ultimate Pitch 2026.

The final pitch event was held on September 11, 2026, at Palms by Eagles in Accra, bringing together selected entrepreneurs from Ghana’s creative and cultural sectors.

The Orange Inspire Fidelity Cultural and Creative Challenge is supported by Fidelity Bank Ghana, ALX and UNESCO Ghana, and provides funding and business development opportunities to creative enterprises.

The programme covers sectors including creative technology, film and music, fashion, arts and crafts, media and content creation, with up to GH¢600,000 available in funding.

During the final pitch, participants presented their business models, market opportunities, progress and growth plans to a panel of judges.

Apprise Music’s presentation focused on music distribution, publishing administration, rights management and catalogue development.

The company outlined its work with independent artists, producers, labels and other rights holders to improve the administration, protection and commercial value of their music.

Founder and CEO of Apprise Music & Media, Michael Bamfo, said the support would help the company strengthen its operations and services for creators.

“This support gives us additional capacity to improve how we manage releases, metadata, rights and catalogue assets,” Bamfo said.

“It will also help us serve more creators, develop stronger music and audiovisual assets, and build practical systems that allow African rights holders to benefit from the long-term value of their work.”

Apprise Music provides digital distribution, publishing administration, rights management, royalty collection, catalogue management, artist marketing, label services and music-business education.

The company said it intends to use the support in three main areas: artist and catalogue growth, increasing the number of paying creators using its services, and expanding its catalogue of monetisable assets.

Planned investments include equipment for catalogue administration and short-form video editing, catalogue audits, metadata improvement, artist onboarding, creator education and release marketing.

The company also plans to strengthen its customer-management systems and its capacity to produce audiovisual content around selected artists and releases.

According to Apprise Music, the investments will help it manage a growing number of releases and produce more content to support catalogue discovery, audience growth and revenue generation.

The Orange Inspire programme also provides participating businesses with training, mentorship and business-development support.

Apprise Music said the grant support will form part of its efforts to expand its services to African creators and rights holders.
