'No one comforts me when I'm in sorrow' - Dr Likee opens up

Ghanaian comic actor Dr Likee, also known as Aka Ebenezer, has shared how he finds himself lonely whenever he is dealing with a personal issue.

In an interview shared on social media on September 25, 2026, Dr Likee noted that although his main motive is to ensure that people going through life challenges find some form of happiness, there is no one to put a smile on his face when he goes through similar experiences.

He additionally noted that no one has ever questioned him about his welfare or asked whether he has someone to comfort him in his time of need.

“No one has ever conducted an interview with me and asked me who comforts or makes me happy when I am in sorrow. But there is no one,” he said.

Dr Likee additionally noted that he does not watch his own comic videos.

He further explained that he does not watch television or remain active on social media, adding that he only watches his videos when they go viral on social media.

“I don’t watch TV or go on social media. I don’t even watch my own videos because I am always around when the director is shooting, so I don’t watch them on social media.

“I only watch a video of mine when it goes viral, and someone shares it with me. That’s even once in a while. I don’t like fame to get to me,” he added.
