Netizens drag Amerado over viral encounter with upcoming artiste

Rapper Amerado has come under heavy scrutiny online following a recent video in which he was seen seemingly denigrating an upcoming artiste.

In the video, which surfaced on X on September 27, 2026, Amerado asked the young artiste, who had solicited his help, to put his problems aside, noting that he (Amerado) also had his own challenges.

"What are you using quality sounds for? I also have a problem, so put what you are telling me aside. If I tell you my problem, I am not sure you can understand," Amerado noted.

Meanwhile, his comments have quickly triggered massive reactions online, with many netizens expressing concern over how the rapper handled the situation.

According to some, Amerado was unnecessarily harsh toward the young artiste and could have communicated his refusal in a more respectful manner.

Others expressed disappointment that Amerado admitted he is unwilling to help because he had previously been betrayed by people he supported.

guy was lamenting his inability to afford quality production…

and i think Amerado is encouraging him to still keep dropping music with whatever he has right now…and not wait for that “quality production”

the issue is just the demeanor with which amerado is talking 😂😂

Amerado is very right.. he is just saying the guy has to start with whatever he has..

just like me saying “I want to start content but I don’t have an iPhone 17pro max “
