It's my dream to have a Sark-Shatta-Stonebwoy joint concert - Sarkodie

Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has revealed that one of his dreams is to stage a joint concert with his colleagues Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.

Speaking during a discussion on Onua TV on October 18, 2026, the rapper said he is ready to make the dream a reality, even if the concert were to happen the next day.

Sarkodie described the proposed event, which Onua Showtime host Nana Ama McBrown suggested could be called the “S Concert,” as one he hopes to see materialise in the future.

“I am sure all of us share the dream of hosting such a concert. Personally, I am ready to do it, even if it means holding it tomorrow. That is also one of my dreams: for all three of us to host a joint concert,” he said.

However, singer and media personality Mimi Andani argued that the entire country could come to a standstill if the three top artistes come together to hold a joint concert.

“It won’t work. The whole country will come to a standstill. Even when Sarkodie performs alone, Kumasi becomes choked,” Mimi said.

Entertainment critic Kwesi Ernest also explained that ticket prices would have to be increased to help control the crowd at such a concert.

He added that security would have to be beefed up, as each artiste and his team would need a minimum of 200 security personnel.

“Unless we increase the ticket prices, security will also have to be beefed up. Sarkodie and his team would need about 200 security personnel, and Shatta Wale and his team would also need about 200. The same would apply to Stonebwoy and his team.

“Another option would be to allow about an hour between each artiste’s performance. By the time one artiste finishes and the next is about to perform, the previous artiste would have returned home,” he said.
