We have witnessed military personnel and the police providing security to some artistes during certain occasions. Are these security officers assigned officially by their agencies to provide their services or they are contracted by these artistes to provide security services as a side job . The military and the police can be assigned to provide security at certain events to provide safety and protection when crowd control is of paramount concern. But using the police or military to provide personal security to individual artistes is an abuse of government services
