M.anifest is a Ghanaian Rapper
Rapper M.anifest has refused to comment on the ongoing debate over event organisers allowing patrons into ticketed concerts for free after performances have begun.
He asserted that he is not familiar enough with the issue to criticise how others run their events.
Speaking in an interview with DJ Slim, the award-winning rapper was asked about concerns raised by some music consumers, who argue that paying premium prices for concerts only for gates to later be opened to non-paying attendees diminishes their experience.

Responding to the issue, M.anifest said he is not in a position to judge event organisers.
“I have no opinion on that. I am not familiar with the conversation that has been happening. That’s number one. And number two, charley, I also have deep empathy for every artiste and their teams who organise every event and want it to be successful, so I am not about to criticise how they made their event successful, especially when I don’t know much about it,” he said
Rather than focusing on the controversy, the God MC hitmaker said his attention is on helping improve Ghana’s concert culture for the future.
According to him, the industry should prioritise building a more sustainable system for live events instead of being distracted by online debates.
“As a collective, we all have to start working towards a more sustainable model in the concert culture and forget the noise and settings. I am more interested in younger artistes hearing me right now to try and build a model that’s more sustainable so that by the time they are where we are, it’s a much better situation,” he added
