Dancehall artistes Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and streamer Made in Ghana
Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has weighed in on the controversy involving Ghanaian streamer Made in Ghana and Nigerian content creator Carter Efe, insisting that Made in Ghana does not disrespect celebrities.
Speaking during a TikTok Live session with members of the Shatta Movement fanbase, Shatta Wale said the recent backlash surrounding Made in Ghana should not be used to create division among artistes and their supporters.
According to him, Made in Ghana has always shown respect to Ghanaian entertainers and has no bad intentions towards any celebrity.
“Made in Ghana does not disrespect any celebrity in Ghana,” Shatta Wale said.

He explained that Made in Ghana has previously spoken about his admiration for Stonebwoy and his desire to connect with the dancehall artiste, adding that the streamer has always shown interest in working with and supporting Ghanaian talents.
“Made in Ghana, the number of times he sees me and tells me, ‘Oh, this place and Stonebwoy was there but I was trying to approach them but God, they stopped me.’ I said, are they stopping you for what?" He recounted.
Shatta Wale also said, despite the rivalry often portrayed between their fanbases, Stonebwoy is not his enemy.
“Stonebwoy is not my enemy. I don’t have a problem with him,” he said.
The “On God” hitmaker further urged fans to stop turning entertainment into a battlefield, arguing that the industry should be a space for creativity and unity.
“Don’t let us use this entertainment as a war game. This is not a war field. This is an entertainment field,” Shatta Wale said.
He criticised the negativity often seen on some 'Stonebwoy fan' platforms, saying supporters should avoid spreading hostility and instead focus on promoting Ghanaian artistes.
“Every fan platform you go, the Bhim people, they are talking in pain. And so I’m like, this is entertainment? All of them are in pain, and that’s a bad energy,” he added.
Shatta Wale further encouraged Made in Ghana not to be discouraged by the backlash, saying he had already spoken to him and advised him to remain focused.
“The word I used is that: fuck everybody, do whatever you are doing. You see, I’ve held him for years. And he doesn’t have any bad energy,” he said.
His comments come after Carter Efe faced backlash over remarks made during a livestream in Ghana, where he compared himself to Ghanaian dancehall artistes and alleged that Made in Ghana had shared comments about Stonebwoy.
The incident has since sparked heated conversations online, with Shatta Wale calling for an end to fan-driven conflicts and urging supporters to see entertainment as a unifying space.
