Bullgod criticises MC Portfolio over his issues with Sarkodie and his fan base
Entertainment pundit and artiste manager Bullgod has criticised MC Portfolio over his decision to appear on a platform associated with rapper Sarkodie despite reportedly having unresolved issues with the musician and his fan base.
Speaking in an interview on Starr FM, Bullgod questioned why MC Portfolio would agree to be part of an event where he could potentially face hostility from Sarkodie’s supporters.
He argued that MC Portfolio should have anticipated the possible consequences of his decision instead of blaming the production team for the situation.
“If you have issues with Sarkodie and his fan base, I don’t think it was a wise decision to appear on that stage. You created the situation you are now complaining about, so why would you want to shift the blame to the production team?” he questioned.
Bullgod mentioned that anyone who has a disagreement with a particular group should avoid situations that could expose them to unnecessary confrontation.
“If I have an issue with a particular camp, I wouldn’t even want to go near them. Why would you deliberately put yourself in the crossfire? If there are issues arising from your comments or actions, why would you put yourself in a position where you could be endangered?” he asked.
He urged MC Portfolio to resolve his differences with Sarkodie and the rapper’s fan base rather than blaming the event organisers.

Bullgod also said MC Portfolio could have contacted him privately to discuss the matter, noting that they had interacted on several occasions outside event-related engagements.
“Whatever is brewing between you, try and solve the issues. If you want to bring us in as production people, you know I’m part of it, so you could have called me and we could talk on a different level and I’ve engaged you on other levels apart from events and all that,” he shared.
According to him, MC Portfolio could have used his meeting with Sarkodie as an opportunity to seek the rapper’s intervention in calming tensions with his supporters.
“When you met Sarkodie, you could have asked him to record a video appealing to his fan base to make peace with you. We are all from Asanteman, and we should be able to resolve these issues and move forward together,” he stated.
Bullgod maintained that if MC Portfolio had failed to take steps to settle the disagreement, he could not understand why he would later blame the production team for the resulting tension.
He insisted that personal disagreements should be addressed directly rather than being attributed to event organisers and production personnel.
"If you’ve not been able to do that, how do you now transcend that energy and say it’s production?” he added.
