  I did it in college. It was my pritcace bat. 1) drill a hole in the handle of the bat (about 6-8 deep)2) plug the hole with cork and leave about 2-3 at the top3) fill in the top of the hole with a piece of wood that matches the bat, and glue it into place.4) when the glue is dry, sand the handle of the bat and either paint over it with flat black paint or cover it with pine tar.I did it as an experiment and actually filled a couple other bats for other guys. We did the work in the shop, and sanded the bats and covered the holes in the dorm. When we took them to pritcace, no one knew that we had altered the bats, until they hit with them. We didn't use them in a game situation, however.

  It is an akan way of unknowingly cursung oneself.It's high-time the society seeks to stop it.This is the case whereby an akan speaking person will say out of common lack of moral education,'OTANI ABOA'even forgetting about the clear fact that,the akans themselves evolved to this today's glory of state of physical galance because their ancestors in the period towards the 15th century had had to inter-marry with the 'NTAFUO'men to give birth to handsome children, a situatin which helped enhance the structural look of almost every akan man today.EVen the akan woman did not and does not commit any illicit act according to the akan customary tradition ,if she had or has a child whether or not through marriage with another man, since it states that the child legally belongs to the ethnic class to which the mother belongs.The case(by the shameless and uncultured akan people) of insulting someone OTANI ABOA should have a serious repercusional effects on them since they are cursing themselves.
