This is the kind of thing that happens when Ghanaians do not control the major companies in Ghana. With foreigners always heading these companies, ofcourse they do not care about the interest of the average Ghanaian. This is a shame. Maybe we should take some tips from Liberia, where foreigners cannot buy commercial land unless they are married to a Liberian. At least this way, Ghana can't be bought just because some foreigner has money. Ghanaians should take control of Ghana!

I agree that we should promote our own local talent. I mean would America ever pay a Ghanaian musician a million dollars?! Never! So why are we.

Besides, if we as a county can indeed raise a million dollars from taxes-this money should be invested in energy to help alleviate this electricity crisis! Come on people, Africa has unbelievable potential!
