1. Bravo! for having the desire to be rid of this challenge (cos that's what it is). It is an extremely good start point in helping you out.

2. You then need to recognize that you have the spirit of the Living God dwelling in you; as you wouldn't have felt the need to open up on this if you were destitute of Him. and

3. Cooperate with God in getting you out of this by doing what His word prescribes for all of us sinners. i.e, go to Him in simple prayer, confessing to Him your issue. Notice that you need to voice it out yourself for God to be able to save you from the situation ( see Romans 10:10).

4. Then ask God to baptize you with His Spirit, i.e saturate you with Him so that you can withstand the temptation to relapse into the situation again. This is important because the evil one will want to come back with even stronger temptations after you try to end this current issue (you can also see Matthew 12:43-45).

So go on and try these pointers I have given you in true heartfelt prayer to God and you shall be just fine.

You are not evil, we all fall into sin by the day. What matters when we sin is that we remember that we have an advocate with God in Jesus Christ His Son who intercedes for us (1 John 2:1-5).
