All Ghana-based companies who support such programmes should face boycott bu Ghanaian consumers. We need to treat our artistes better. They are good and will do better with more support.

One thing Ghanaian artists need to shy away from is being satisfied with being village champions.
Psquare and Dbanj were already established artists in Nigeria and Africa BEFORE the international collabos.

One thing Ghanaian artists need to shy away from is being satisfied with being village champions.
Psquare and Dbanj were already established artists in Nigeria and Africa BEFORE the international collabos.

You have to pay your dues before you are endorsed by Africans.

When was the last time Ghanaian artists peformed for their fans who are not from Ghana? When was the last time they even gave their non-Ghanaian fans the time of day?

Look on youtube to see the likes of Psquare on their grind all over Africa for YEARS.......if you show other Africans love they will show you love back. For GH artists, even to perform in Nigeria they think it's below them.

Be ready to put in hard work before you are rewarded.

I concur with the sentiments raised in Kofi K'dua, Ksapa-UK and Metoo's comments. These Ghanaian 'village champions' need to do the African Circuit in order to promote their music. The hiphop music populace in Ghana is not massive so the vilage champions need to carry their wares across the lands to other African countries and sell their wares there...it should not be the USA or Europe only. What is preventing D Cryme collaborating with P-Square and 2Face if they have wider exposure? Everyone wants to be a solo artist but it is not all solo artists that can cut it right? So why not put your heads together with other good artists in Ghana and come out with a SUPER GROUP? Will that not make all of you a better group than this selfish and mundane solo crap music that floats no one's boat in Ghana?
