Highlife music is still alive in Nigeria and all over West Africa. Many of our musicians are to be praised for keeping HIGHLIFE flame alive: Amakye Dede, Nana Ampadu,and the corabulation of Dady Lumba and Pat Thomas, Kofi B, Kaakyire Kwaame, Daasebre Dwamena Nana Wusu (may he rest in a perfect peace) Ofori Amponsah ( All 4 Real please came back) Papa Yankson, the Western Diamonds, Jewel Ackah and many others . Wouldn’t be nice to see CK and Nana Ampadu corabulating in a Highlife music?

I remember in the mid 70s when my music career started ,me and my friends use to go to Takoradi to see The Carousel 7 with big bro C K on guitar and vocals,Yankson(vocals)Yaw Boakye(keyboards,later Complex,Tema)Owusu(bass guitar) etc.This was really a great band of highlife.Yankson`s voice and C K ´s voice were really two different kinds that made their music very unique.
