In recent days all manner of prophesies are coming up making some of them appear bizarre and simple suggestions couched and put in the mouth of God. gleaning form what this man of God has said and even asking Ghanainas to impress upon Kofi Annan, one could say it is essentially his opinion which he wants to foist on Ghanaians. If indeed what he is saying is of Gpd, one will need not to impress upon Kofi. The very God who will want him to be the EC boss will predispose him for the position and once he is approached he will take no time at all to accept same since God would have already prepared him for it. Let our men of God go easy otherwise a time will come we will take their interventions as opportunistic and possibly self- serving

Besides, I highly doubt if Kofi Annan will like to accept such a position, not because it's smaller than his previous appointment but because of the propensity of the average Ghanaian to assassinate the character of any person (who ever he/she is) if things don't go their way.

Short Biography:
Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo

He graduated from the University of Ghana in 1967 with a B.Sc in Economics. Nana trained as a lawyer in England and was called to the English Bar (Middle Temple) in 1971 and the Ghanaian Bar in 1975.

Under President Kufuor, Nana served as the Attorney-General and Minister for Foreign Affairs. He was the flagbearer of the party in the 2008 elections and was again elected in 2010 to be the flagbearer of the party in the upcoming 2012 elections.

In Volta Region, there is a split between those who "discover" prophesy for every issue imaginable, or tailored old prophecies to fit and those who strongly disapprove. This, as you can imagine, has caused schism in the Church. Now this Church, revered by almost all, is now a shell of its former glory. Fortunately members are undaunted and believe things will turn around. They have no doubt whatever that this will pass quickly.

The whole world is in a ferment. This over multiplication of prophets has to stop.

Now reality:

1) Ghana is filty poor
2) Pastors drive around in expensive cars and etc
3) their followers pay a lot of money only even to get annointed (tell me where in bible is says you have to pay)
4) most of them follow other gods
5) they visit juju man and etc to get succes
6) their prophecy is mostly wrong (I believe bible says something about this)
7) they lie and do all kind of things which the dailight cannot bear (bible says something about this)

So, make your own conclusion, Ghanaians are just stubborn and do miss knowledge and that is the reason some of these morons who follow their own gods still have a job..because they listen to Satan! and let us now forget, satan knows a lot and he can and is a master or professor or the way you want to call in in misleading people!!

The person to succeed Dr Afari-Gyan is someone who has the time and the commitment to do the ground work to get the EC doing the right things. My own view and suggestion is that the Chairmanship o the EC should be occupied by one of our ex University Vice Chancellors such as PROF.IVAN ADDAE MENSAH

With all the good will in the world, Dr.Afari-Gyan has been too complacent. This is not meant to downgrade his efforts or to cast them in bad a light. He has been in office for along time and the procedures, processes and systems of the EC should have been far
better than what have been shown to be the case in this last election petition.

Ghana is a member of the Commonwealth and should have learnt a lot from the best electoral practices of other members. It does not seem this EC under Afari-Gyan has been willing to do so. Hopefully a new Chairman will take up the challenges and work harder to improve all aspects of the work of the EC

The general problem bothering our election and the final results is not about who heads the EC only, it is also about who are on the fields, the people recruited and trained within the shortest time and the party representatives who are at the polling stations.

We can have Kofi Annan even if God says he is good, but is he the one on the field to watch everything that goes on? The real problem of our election is with the whole population that participates in the election, especially the good, educated and honest representatives of the parties.

If you listens to the court proceedings you can see that the NPP arguments touched the failure of the presiding officers of the EC of which without your partiality is not thr fault of Afari Gyan, but the fault of recruited people who should have done what they ought to do.

Even if Kofi Annan comes and the stupidity of the Ghanaians recruited remain the same the end of any election could be the same, which means it will be court matter again. For our own awareness it is clear that not all the people in charge of the EC are of one party therefore Afari Djan does not control EC, and it will surely be the same with Kofi Annan.

As said earlier if all the party reps. at the polling stations are very eye opened people, then where will this and that be found into the equation, because at the end of counting every party rep. will be aware of figures recorded for every party, and will make sure that is what get to the EC head office.
